- Conductor shall be composed of plain annealed copper complying with IS:8130-1984.
- Insulation shall be of type A compound and sheath shall be of ST 1 grade compound of IS:5831-1984
- Colour on insulation shall be white for type I and black for type II and sheath shall be in white.
